Four Not-So-Obvious Things That Are Stressing You Out

A lot of things are obviously stressing you out . . . your job, dealing with your relatives.  But here’s a list of four things that might be stressing you out without you even REALIZING IT.

#1.)  The Lack of Cubicles at Your Office.  A lot of offices have open floor plans now, so you can see the whole way across the room.

–It seems like a good thing, but it can actually be more stressful than sitting in a cubicle, because your brain is constantly being distracted.  Even if you don’t notice all the extra activity, your BRAIN is working overtime.

#2.)  Sleeping with a Night-Light On.  It might even make you DEPRESSED.  Researchers at Ohio State made one group of hamsters sleep in complete darkness, and made the other group sleep with a night-light on.

Celebrate & Remember What It’s All About…

Fargo –Holy Cross North Cemetery, 1502 32nd Ave. N. Veterans will assemble at 8:20 a.m.   There will be a salute to veterans at 8:40 a.m., followed by a Memorial Day Mass at 9 a.m. hosted by Holy Cross Catholic Church. In case of rain, the Mass will be at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fargo.

9:30 a.m., Veterans Memorial Bridge between Fargo and Moorhead veterans will assemble. A program will begin at 9:45 a.m.

10:30 a.m., Riverside Cemetery, 2102 5th St. S veterans will assemble. A ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. The keynote address will be given by our very own Dan Michaels.

Fargo AMVETS Post 7, 1001 1st Ave. S., is asking residents looking to retire old flags to drop them off for proper retirement at this time. The annual flag retirement ceremony will be held June 14.

City of Moorhead is seeking volunteers to assist with clean-up along I-94 on Friday, May 25th.

Volunteers should meet in the True Value parking lot near the intersection of 8th Street and 30th Avenue S in Moorhead at 8:00 am.

Gloves, garbage bags, and safety vests will be provided.

Please wear closed toe shoes as conditions may be muddy.
